Tleilaxu Man,the day i discovered Sturmpercht, i thought they're a fun alpine take on Death in June but no. They're far more than that and their text&sounddesign is genius at times. Try "wir rufen deine Wölfe" next time you go cold turkey from a heroin binge and somehow you manage to transform all that pain, anger, desperation and sickness into something enjoyable. Thats the power of Sturmpercht, raw and full of pathos Favorite track: Wir Rufen Deine Wölfe.

Wound of Briccius I had discovered this album years ago on YouTube and I decided it was time to finally get it myself. Sturmpercht holds a special place in my heart. Listening to this album while hiking around the Untersberg and the Hoher Göll is such a magnificent experience I will never forget. Cheerful, nostalgic, dark, mysterious, and "Heimat". This album gives me a sense of Old World belonging. Favorite track: Waldheimat.
Aemiq

Aemiq A very harrowing, yet comforting album. Though I do derive a sense of belonging and Heimatliebe from it I also cant quite stop feeling as if it was a false sense of such. The music is both catchy and intricate at times and the lyrics inspire hope, longing, and peace, with many other emotions sprinkled in throughout the record. They are also the reason why it is virtually impossible to choose an undoubted favourite; for now its the song describing the legend of Kaiser Karl though. Favorite track: Kaiser Karl.

Tulekahju Renartus

Tulekahju Renartus One of the best Folk albums i ever heard so far. It's deep, cinematic, emotive, even "triumphant" in some points; and i didn't even feel tired, though it's a very long album.

10/10 Favorite track: Waldeslust.

Robin von Cogwell Probably the best album made by Sturmpercht. Not a single bad track. Favorite track: Wir Rufen Deine Wölfe.

Sturmpercht & Rauhnåcht Sankt Koloman, Austria

STURMPERCHT is an Austrian experimental, traditional folk and neofolk musical group inspired partially by indigenous alpine tradition.

RAUHNÅCHT is a dark journey through deep forests and misty mountains, full of Alpine battle hymns and grim martial anthems for mountain trolls.

In the beginning RAUHNÅCHT was based on the lyrics and sounds of STURMPERCHT.
